You might be pleased to learn that Alternative Health Courses rank on page 1 of the Google.com for the search phrase “Alternative Health Courses” out of 11,000 or so sites.
That’s some going and it means we’re getting some hits already from the organic searches - so I’ll keep up the pressure and see if I can push Alternative Health Courses up even higher into the top 5. I’ve got some high power domains now that link to this site, so we should see some decent Page Rank come the next reshuffle.
Told you I’ve been working hard on this site!!!

Alternative Health Courses: Second Update

Following on from the second post in this alternative health courses journal, Alternative Health Courses: First Update, here’s an update on how things are going with the website and the adding of courses to the list.
Unfortunately, life sometimes throws us a banana-skin when we’re really under the cosh. Well I got a rotten stinking cold leading up into Christmas which pretty much killed me off for a good few days. That doesn’t mean I lay in bed like a wounded soldier - oh no - I kept on this computer and kept working on the alternative health courses website.
That cold actually wasn’t the banana-skin I got!
A few days before that set in, I’d discovered a new source of information online that would be of immense benefit to my own ability to make some money online and I had to delve in and learn all I could. It was not entirely selfish - that knowledge will also benefit this alternative health courses website in its promotion drive online quite a lot.
Suffice it to say I have been held back a bit but have actually accomplished something in that time. I’ve set out the templates for all the courses I will upload - that took a hell of a long time and a lot of fiddly work but the worst is over and I’ve uploaded the first complete one of our alternative health courses - Hypnotherapy.
The PayPal information is all there and it should (!!) all work smoothly - but we’ll have to arrange a day to test it out just to make sure.
Another thing that will be transparent to you but I moved the alternative health courses blog to a new home as a subfolder to the main alternative health courses site rather than it’s original place as an alternative health courses subdomain. That way all the content that goes onto this blog will benefit the SEO of the main site by making it more Google-friendly.
That’s all for now folks - hope y’all had a nice Christmas

Alternative Health Courses: First Update

Following on from the first post in this Alternative Health Courses journal, entitled simply: Alternative Health Courses, This post is simply an update on how the site is progressing toward launch date - 1st January 2008.
Today a test hypnotherapy alternative health course zip file was uploaded to the server to test the download button on the thank you page that will be displayed once a client has completed their PayPal payment. The next stage will be to add the PayPal payment button to the “Hypnotherapy Course” page on the site.
Already, navigation is beginning to get complicated with the addition of many more pages, but this will be simplified with a revamped menu bar and site map.
The Hypnotherapy Alternative Health Course itself has been reformatted and edited into PDF format for easier up/download.
These early posts will deal mainly with site updates and pre-launch information - more alternative health course information will follow after launch.
